Should I Buy a Gas or Electric Golf Cart?

This is a common debate among golf cart owners. There are those who love gas golf carts and others who prefer electric golf carts. Looking at it from a mechanical standpoint, consider this. There are over 1500 moving parts of a gas engine but only about 500 of the same in an electric golf cart. However, certain uses require a gas cart over an electric cart such as if the distance traveled is over 15 miles or an inability to charge the batteries for 12 hours. Although there are other uses more appropriate for a gas cart, the less mechanically inclined drivers might want to consider an electric golf cart where proper care of the batteries is the main concern. For your convenience, we have both gas and electric golf carts.

Know Your Golf Cart Dealer!

Recently in Ohio there have been many new golf cart sellers. It seems like everyone is trying to make a buck selling used and custom golf carts. These new sellers range from full service dealers to people selling in their front yard. Just because the business is new doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be trusted. However, you would be wise to ask some questions before you spend a lot of money on a used golf cart with no warranty. Satisfactory answers to questions such as what happens if the golf cart has problems after I buy it, and do you have the mechanics to fix it if something goes wrong, probably means you are on the right track. Buckeye Pro can and will fix your golf cart if any problems arise.
